Fantastic location and view of the Eiger from the terrace.

Deceptive photographs on the website and brochure of the hotel. Rooms very old fashioned with tiny bathrooms with tired furniture and furnishings. Food very basic and over priced. Insufficient hot water for all guests to shower in the morning, a basic necessity. Overall over priced and over rated with the exception of the fantastic view and location.

magnificent view on the Eiger (if you book a room on the front side of the hotel of course). Great terrace and good food. Friendly staff.

Rooms, funiture, bathroom etc are quite old, but clean.
